On December 8, Moscow hosted the 10th conference "The Future of Renewable Energy in Russia." The event was attended by the representatives of authorities, major energy companies, design and engineering organizations, scientific institutions, and investment and commercial banks. This is reported by Vedomosti.
The conference was attended by the Chairman of the Board of Directors Maxim Kozlov and the CEO of ENNOVA Anton Milto.
At the event, the attendees talked about how the Russian renewable energy industry will develop against the background of prioritizing the issue of decarbonization of the economy in the state strategic documents, what role the new law on limiting greenhouse gas emissions will play in determining the energy structure of the future, what technologies will more quickly ensure price parity in electricity markets, and many other important issues.
"I especially remember the interview of Anatoly Chubais, Special Representative of the President of the Russian Federation for Relations with International Organizations to Achieve Sustainable Development Goals. He said that the energy transition in Russia should begin with social policy. This suggests increased attention to the development of green energy (wind and solar energy), hydro and nuclear energy, as well as the issues related to the production and use of hydrogen. I expect our company to constructively respond to the obvious change in the country's energy policy and to rank high in the renewable energy engineering services market," said Maxim Kozlov.
